T-Mobile customers complain at ‘blocking’ of gay websites

Customers of T-Mobile have complained that the mobile phone network bars access to gay websites. T-Mobile, one of the UK’s largest mobile phone networks, appears to block gay-related content as unsuitable for under-18s.

Miss Universe 2010 supports gay marriage

The winner of Miss Universe 2010 has come out in support of gay marriage. Mexican beauty queen Ximena Navarrete said she had lots of gay friends and there was “no reason we should want to set them aside”.

Homophobic teen who initiated murder cleared of assault

A Scottish teenager who initiated the murder of a gay man was cleared of a vicious street assault this week. Alexander Kindred, now aged 18, was 15 when he claimed that council worker James Kerr, 51, had made sexual advances to him in a park.

California state won’t be forced to defend Prop 8
